Bossin' Gravy

Ingredients

  • 3 tbsp Butter
  • 3 tbsp Flour
  • 1 cup turkey pan dripping
  • 1 tsp rosemary sage
  • 1 tsp Thyme
  • Kosher Salt
  • Pepper
  • 1 cup broth

Directions

  1. Melt butter in a small saucepan over medium heat.
  1. Whisk in flour and cook for about 1 minute - until the mixture is golden.
  1. Whisk in pan drippings. (If you have more than a cup, use it and reduce the amount of broth!)
  1. Bring mixture to a boil and simmer gently until the it has thickened slightly.
  1. Stir in fresh herbs.
  1. Whisk in 1 cup of broth and return mixture to a simmer.
  1. Season with salt and pepper (to taste).
  1. Simmer for 10 minutes - gradually add more stock if the gravy is too thick.
